“Sharks of the Deep” Interactive AR Mural
Miami · March 29, 2021
During a live demo, Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Alberto Carvalho experienced our augmented reality mural at iPrep Academy. The installation transformed the school’s walls into a vibrant underwater environment, featuring animated shark species swimming through the space.
This preliminary showcase marked the first phase of the project, with the grand opening scheduled to bring city officials and press for a full unveiling. The mural demonstrates how AR can bring education, art, and science together—immersing students in marine biodiversity through real-time interaction.

Spinteractive @ Brickell, Miami
February 23, 2017
At the Creative Glue event in Miami’s Brickell district, I collaborated with Spinteractive to deliver some of the city’s earliest mixed reality demonstrations. Our team developed and presented Microsoft HoloLens prototypes, showcasing how augmented overlays could merge seamlessly with real-world spaces for live audiences.
The activation introduced attendees to the future of immersive technology in a business and entertainment context, highlighting applications from interactive branding to collaborative design. As part of the technical team, I contributed to HoloLens development, user experience design, and live demos, ensuring that the showcase was both technically smooth and engaging for event participants.
This project marked an early milestone in Miami’s XR scene—pioneering mixed reality storytelling at a time when AR/VR was just beginning to break into mainstream cultural and business events.
